The South Asian Family Lore Project is the video heirloom service that makes it easy for you to share your family's origin storywith your kids, grandkids, and future generations to come.
We record you from the comfort of your home remotely, using nothing but a laptop and WIFI.
We produce beautiful, documentary-style family videos that are private and secure, allowing you to express yourselves fully to the people who look up to you most. They want to know how you grew up, what your family was like, what motivated you, and how you became a success.

An easy process
All you need is a laptop and WIFI
Our documentarians create a safe space for you to share the full color of your life story. We meet in advance to discuss questions your kids and grandkids are interested in covering and map a high-level storyarc together. When we record, we go at your pace. Together, we build a family video heirloom that gives you room to tell your story in the way that's right for you and gives your children and grandchildren insight into not only who you are -- but who they are as well.
